A 7-week hybrid elective for high school homeschoolers — where interior styling meets intentional living. Hands-on. Portfolio-building. Industry immersive.
The Home Wellness Course teaches high school homeschool students the art and science of creating spaces that don't just look beautiful — but feel intentional, calm, and restorative.
Through Homestyle Decorators Home Wellness™ for Teens, students are introduced to the principles of calm living, thoughtful design, organization, and biophilic elements that help create more supportive home environments. They learn how natural light, connection to nature, color, layout, and sensory awareness can contribute to a greater sense of comfort, focus, and balance.
Every session builds toward a real portfolio. Every week teaches a skill students will use for life.
Tohni Jean Bellis is the founder of Homestyle Decorators Home Wellness™, an educational initiative focused on helping students and families create environments that support everyday well-being. She believes that the spaces where we live, learn, and grow have a direct impact on how we feel, think, and perform.
As an advocate for home wellness and educational choice, Tohni welcomes opportunities for legislative meetings, school visits, media interviews, community presentations, and public speaking engagements that advance conversations around student well-being, family wellness, and the positive role of home environments in daily life.
Designing for stillness. Reducing visual noise and overstimulation so the nervous system can relax the moment you enter a room.
Creating balance through color, proportion, light, texture, and sensory elements — so every sense feels completely at ease.
Our innate human need to connect with nature. Bringing the outdoors in through plants, natural materials, light, and organic shapes.
Online video lessons each week combined with hands-on in-person sessions at our South Florida location.
Tohni's mission is to help families understand how intentional home environments can support healthy routines, reduce unnecessary stressors, encourage creativity, and promote conditions that help students thrive academically and personally. The spaces where we live, learn, and grow have a direct impact on how we feel, think, and perform.
